Article Processing Charges (APC)

The International Journal of Advanced Biotechnology and Research (IJABR) is an open-access journal. To support editorial management, double-blind peer review, professional production of articles (PDF), online hosting, indexing, long-term archiving, and worldwide dissemination of published research, a one-time Article Processing Charge (APC) is payable only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication.

Submission Fee: None (No charges for manuscript submission)

Article Processing Charge (Effective August 2026): USD $200 per accepted manuscript

Optional Hard Copy (Print Version): USD $50 per copy

Payment instructions will be provided in the manuscript acceptance letter.

Waiver Policy

IJABR is committed to promoting equitable access to scholarly publishing. In accordance with international best practices, corresponding authors from countries classified by the World Bank as low-income or lower-middle-income economies, or authors who can demonstrate genuine financial hardship, may apply for a partial APC waiver of up to 50%.

Waiver requests must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission and are treated confidentially. All waiver decisions are made independently of the editorial and peer-review process. Editorial decisions are based solely on the scientific quality and academic merit of the submitted manuscript.

Refund Policy

Article Processing Charges (APCs) are non-refundable once a manuscript has been accepted and published, except where publication cannot proceed due to an error or circumstance attributable solely to the publisher.
